The Fourth of July is behind us and it’s finally feeling like summer! I’m testing out a new format that I hope to send 2x a week. Hit reply and tell me what you think?

In this Middle of Somewhere, you’ll find:

  • Gifts I’d give someone I loved from CNY

  • Worth a Look

  • Business Happenings Around Auburn

  • On the Calendar

Thanks for being here while I build this! It’s already becoming a dream come true.

Gifts I’d give someone I loved from Central New York

I love a fridge magnet as much as the next pal but if I really love someone and I’m trying to bring them a souvenir, I’m getting way more specific than that (even when I’m on a budget).

Worth a Look

  • CNY Book Crawl — 19 independent bookstores are hosting a book crawl together! Stop at any on the list to get your passport and get started on the book crawl → Get the Map

  • Stone Creek Marcellus — celebrated 1 year being open (and personally I’m celebrating the launch of their summer menu which features Lobster Carbonara… shoutout to Steven and Marissa for bringing that back) → I recommend a reservation
