The state fair is in full swing, which means half of Central New York is at fair and the other half is stuck behind them on the thruway. I went Friday and the traffic was worth it for lobster alone! This week: the city of Auburn wants your opinion (they're planning the next decade), a new nail spot lands at the pantry market, and I have some feelings about the new downtown parking situation.

In this Middle of Somewhere, you'll find:

  • A direct link to the City of Auburn’s survey

  • Local Biz Updates

  • The trouble with Downtown Auburn’s new parking

  • On the Calendar

  • Local Jobs

Thanks for sharing the love of the region with me!

Attn Auburn: City of Auburn is doing a Survey

The City of Auburn is building a Smart Growth Comprehensive Plan to guide land use, development, and community investments for the next decade. They want resident input, and the survey takes about 10 minutes. Responses are anonymous.
