Happy Friday, Middle of Somewhere! I’m struggling to believe I’m already writing about August. Where has the time gone?

In this Middle of Somewhere, you'll find:

  • A guide to the lake I can’t stop going to

  • Zen Den x Prison City collab

  • On the Calendar

  • A new packing guide—for free

Thanks for being here while I build this! It's already becoming a dream come true.

Victoria

Summer's the season to take your yoga off the mat and into the wild. This August, Zen Den is teaming up with Prison City for a one-day-only collab: yoga at the farm.

On Saturday, August 15 from 11 to noon, you'll flow with Erin out at Prison City North, surrounded by the brewery's beautiful farm venue. Then you'll stick around for the best part — every $35 ticket comes with a flight tasting or a pint of your choice.

Bring your mat, bring a friend, and turn a Saturday morning into something worth talking about.

A guide to the lake I keep coming back to…

Keuka is the lake I grew up on, and the one I have the most opinions about. I put together a full guide to spending a few days there — where to swim, the towns worth wandering (Penn Yan and Hammondsport), the wine trail, and the ice cream I always circle back to.
